How to extract multiple polylines into point lists. There is an option in Pointor which lets you split up lists of points into separate sequencies, and each sequence will be treated as a different polyline. In the main point import dialog you need to click on "Desc.Change = New Line/Polyline" option. This will if you have the .BRK style pointlist, or if you have a point list which identifies sections by having the description be the same for all points which have to form the same polyline. Here is an example: You can see that all the points with POY as a description are in one polyline and all the points with the CZX description are in another polyline and so on. You need to do one last thing to make this work, choose "Polylines with Breaks" in the DXF options dialog: You can get to the DXF Options dialog (shown above) by clicking on the last icon on the right in the toolbar. It may seem complicated, but it isn't, and there is a free demo to play with: If you have any questions about Pointor don't hesitate to contact me. |

After appalling technical support from my credit card handler Verifone I've decided to stop selling Pointor. It may become available as charityware. (c)
